A printing arrangement for an ink jet printing device which operates in accordance with a continuous-ink jet process, the printing arrangement has a plurality of charge electrodes, means forming a plurality of individual nozzle openings through which an electrically conductive ink passes under pressure as a jet and/or under drop formation and is guided on the charge electrodes with a potential which is different from a potential of the ink, and at least one substantially flat-surface plate which is composed of a material selected from the group consisting of a non-conductive material and a semiconductor, the plate being provided with a plurality of individual transversely extending passages for individual ink jets or ink drops.
