SLEEVE FOR HOLDING ATHLETIC PAD PROTECTORS IN PLACE ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A footless sock or sleeve is made from elatomeric fabric material and has an elastic band around one end thereof to secure the sleeve to an athletes leg below the knee. The sleeve holds and maintains a shin pad or the like against the wearers leg without the need for tie means or adhesive tape to bind the pad to the shin and leg.
