A method of logging a rod-pumped well without removing the production string of tubing (30) is disclosed. The logging is accomplished with a soft-coated cable (100) or a soft- faced sleeve (130) which prevents abrasion or damage to a rod-pump barrel as a logging device or sonde (110) which is lowered into the production string of the rod-pumped well after removal of the sucker rods and the pump assembly without the need to remove the production string. The soft- coated cable or soft-faced sleeve allows logging without damage to the interior surface of the production tubing thereby eliminating scratching or grooving normally associated with previous wireline logging operations.
La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de diagraphie d'un puits équipé d'une pompe à tiges sans retrait du train de tiges de production (30). La diagraphie est effectuée au moyen d'un câble recouvert d'une matière souple (100) ou d'un manchon doté d'une face souple (130) qui empêche l'abrasion ou la détérioration d'un corps de pompe à tiges lorsqu'un dispositif ou une sonde de diagraphie (110) est abaissé dans le train de production du puits équipé de la pompe à tiges après le retrait des tiges de pompage et de l'ensemble de pompage sans qu'il soit nécessaire de retirer le train de tiges de production. Le câble recouvert d'une matière souple ou le manchon à face souple permet une diagraphie sans détérioration de la surface intérieure des tiges de production, ceci supprimant la formation des rayures ou des rainures normalement associées aux opérations précédentes de diagraphie par câble métallique.
