A hydraulic pressure boosting unit (11) is used in particular in a press operating according to the high inner pressure extrusion process. The hydraulic pressure boosting unit has a docking cylinder (10) with a docking piston that slides in a first cylinder chamber (15) and a docking piston rod (26) secured to the docking piston projects outwards through a housing head (20). The hydraulic pressure boosting unit has a pressure booster (11) with a primary piston (40) located in a second cylinder chamber (16) coaxial to the first cylinder chamber and separated from the first cylinder chamber by a housing bottom (17) and with a secondary piston (41) that plunges into a central axial bore (28) of the docking piston and docking piston rod. In order to generate high forces with the docking cylinder, only one side of the docking piston has a piston rod, namely the docking piston rod.
L'invention part d'une unité hydraulique multiplicatrice de pression (11), utilisée notamment dans une presse qui fonctionne selon le procédé d'extrusion à haute pression intérieure. L'unité décrite comprend un cylindre d'accostage (10) pourvu d'un piston d'accostage coulissant dans une première chambre de cylindre (15) et d'une tige de piston d'accostage (26) assujettie au piston d'accostage et qui fait saillie à l'extérieur à travers une tête de boîtier (20). L'unité comprend en outre un multiplicateur de pression (11) dont le piston primaire se situe dans une deuxième chambre de cylindre (16) coaxiale à la première chambre de cylindre et séparée de la première chambre de cylindre par un fond de boîtier (17), et dont le piston secondaire (41) plonge dans un alésage axial central (28) du piston d'accostage et de la tige du piston d'accostage. Afin de pouvoir générer de grandes forces avec le cylindre d'accostage, seul un côté du piston d'accostage est pourvu d'une tige de piston, c'est-à-dire la tige du piston d'accostage.
