A prosthesis is provided for treating aneuryms, occlusive disease of vessels and body organs, and arterio-venous fistulas, occurring in single and bifurcated lumens. The prosthesis comprises an expandable coiled sheet portion having a biocompatible graft, either a sheet or tube, affixed thereto along part or all of the circumference of the coiled sheet portion. The prosthesis has a small delivery profile, making it suitable for use in a variety of body vessels. Methods of making and deploying the prosthesis in single and bifurcated lumens are also provided.
La présente invention concerne une prothèse permettant de traiter les anévrismes, les affections occlusives des vaisseaux et des organes anatomiques, ainsi que les fistules artério-veineuses, qui se produisent au niveau de lumières simples ou en fourche. Cette prothèse est constituée d'une partie en feuille enroulée déployable pourvue d'un greffon biocompatible en forme, soit de feuille, soit de tube, et s'y fixant par tout ou partie de la circonférence de la partie en feuille enroulée. Cette prothèse présente un petit profil d'insertion, ce qui fait qu'elle est particulièrement indiquée pour une grande variété de vaisseaux anatomiques. L'invention concerne également des procédés de réalisation et de déploiement de la prothèse au niveau de lumières simples et en fourche.
