The present invention provides a composition for use in the production of a construction element, said composition comprising an aggregate and a glycerol binder. Construction elements produced using the composition are described. There is further provided a structural element comprising glycerol and an aggregate. A method for producing a construction element is provided comprising mixing glycerol with an aggregate in the presence of an aqueous medium and then curing said glycerol within said mixture. Further, vegetable oil could be comprised in the composition.
La présente invention concerne une composition destinée à être utilisée dans la fabrication dun élément de construction, ladite composition comprenant un agrégat et un liant glycérol. Des éléments de construction fabriqués à laide de la composition sont décrits. La présente invention concerne en outre un élément structurel qui comprend du glycérol et un agrégat. Un procédé pour fabriquer un élément de construction est proposé qui consiste à mélanger du glycérol avec un agrégat en présence dun agent aqueux et puis à sécher ledit glycérol à lintérieur dudit mélange.
