The invention aims at providing a gas barrier film for medical use which is excellent in gas and water vapor barrier properties even after thermal sterilization and inhibited in the dissolution of components resulting from adhesives, and medical bags made by using the film. A gas barrier film for medical use comprising a multi-layer gas barrier film (10) which comprises a deposit-covered stretched polyester layer (11) having a deposit layer (13) of an inorganic oxide on one surface thereof, a stretched polyamide layer (15) adhesive-bonded to the surface of the deposit layer (13), and a polyethylene layer (17) adhesive-bonded to the other surface of the polyamide layer (15) (which is not the adhesive surface (15a)) and a multi-layer substrate film (22) which comprises a polycycloolefin layer (25), elastomer layers (24) and (26) and a heat-sealing layer (23) and which is adhesive-bonded to the non- covered surface (11b) of the film (11) with the heat-sealing layer (23) existing as the outermost layer.
L~invention concerne un film formant barrière aux gaz destiné à un usage médical, doté d~excellentes propriétés de barrage aux gaz et à la vapeur d~eau, même après stérilisation thermique, et dont la dissolution de composants provenant des adhésifs a été inhibée. L~invention concerne également des sacs médicaux fabriqués avec ce film. Selon cette invention, un film formant barrière aux gaz destiné à un usage médical comprend un film multicouche formant barrière aux gaz (10), ledit film comprenant une couche de polyester étiré recouverte d~un dépôt (11), sur laquelle est déposée, sur l~une de ses surfaces, une couche de dépôt (13) d~un oxyde inorganique ; une couche de polyamide étiré (15) liée par un adhésif à la surface de la couche de dépôt (13) ; et une couche de polyéthylène (17) liée par un adhésif à l~autre surface de la couche de polyamide (15) (qui n~est pas la surface adhésive (15a)) ; et un film de substrat multicouche (22), lequel comprend une couche de polycyclooléfine (25), des couches d~élastomères (24) et (26) et une couche thermoscellable (23) liée par un adhésif à la surface non recouverte (11b) du film (11), la couche thermoscellable (23) étant la couche la plus externe.
