FUEL FILTER WITH DRAIN/FILL/SENSOR PORT Abstract of the Disclosure A drain/fill/sensor port for use in fuel filters and a method for making the same. The port comprises a ferrule attached to a sheet metal shell which is formed with a domed end portion having a central aperture. The ferrule includes four angularly spaced slots adapted to receive and interlock with tabs spaced angularly around the aperture in order to fasten the ferrule securely to the shell.
