A thermoplastic polycarbonate molding composition having improved resistance to gamma radiation-induced yellowing is disclosed. Particularly suitable for the manufacture of devices targeted for medical applications, the composition contains additive amounts of a first stabilizing compound conforming structurally to formula (I) wherein in the embodiment where n is 1, R1 is an unsubstituted or substituted carbocyclic or heterocyclic aromatic ring system, and where in the embodiment where n is 2, R1 is unsubstituted or C1-4-alkyl or hydroxy substituted phenylene or naphthylene, and R2, R3, R4 and R5 independently of one another are hydrogen, C1-25-alkyl groups or phenyl and a saccharine compound.
L'invention concerne une composition de moulage de polycarbonate thermoplastique présentant une meilleure résistance au jaunissement induit pas un rayonnement gamma. Particulièrement adaptée à la fabrication de dispositifs à usage médical, la composition contient des quantités additives d'un premier composé de stabilisation se conformant structurellement à la formule (I) dans laquelle n est 1, R¿1? représente un système de noyau aromatique carbocyclique ou hétérocyclique substitué ou non substitué, et n est 2, R¿1? est non substitué ou alkyle C¿1-4?, ou un phénylène ou naphthylène à substitution hydroxy, et R¿2?, R¿3?, R¿4? et R¿5?, indépendamment les uns des autres, sont hydrogène, des groupes alkyle C¿1-25? ou phényle. La composition contient en outre un composé de saccharine.
