Abstract This invention relates to a skin protector for patients with hip spica casts. There is a major problem of urine and feces being trapped beneath the cast and causing injury to the skin. A skin protector is provided which encircles the customary opening in the cast and comprises a sheet of impermeable material folded and adhered to the skin of the patient and to the cast.
