The invention concerns a system for inspecting the fuselage, the wings and the engines of an aircraft on ground, for de-icing it and protecting it against icing manually or automatically using a computer. Said system and method, whether fixed or mobile, can also be remote-controlled or controlled by a computer equipped with a modem and a mobile telephone for transmitting data instructions, and digitised video images. It consists of several interconnected modules among which a central computer (1), several video cameras (2), a hydraulic ground power unit (3), an air compressor unit whereof some compressors are reversible into aspirators (4), a telescopic cantilever crane (5), a burner unit for heating the secondary air (6), three inflatable de-icing boots of variable length (7) for covering the aircraft equipped with video cameras and projectors at each end and comprising inside hot air nozzles for drying (8) and spray arms for spraying de-icing products (9), a stand-by electric generator unit (10), a reservoir of de-icing liquid equipped with a pump and a liquidometer (11), a centralised alarm system provided with automatic stop devices (12).
L'invention constitue un système et un procédé permettant d'inspecter le fuselage, les ailes et les moteurs d'un avion au sol, de le dégivrer et le protéger contre le givrage manuellement ou automatiquement à l'aide d'un ordinateur. Ce système et procédé, pouvant être fixe ou mobile, peut aussi être commandé à distance par télécommande ou par un ordinateur muni d'un modem et d'un téléphone mobile pour la transmission de commandes d'informations, et d'images vidéo numérisées. Il est constitué par plusieurs modules interconnectés dont un ordinateur central (1), plusieurs caméras vidéo (2), un groupe de génération hydraulique (3), un groupe de compresseurs à air dont certains réversibles en aspirateurs (4), une grue potence télescopique (5), un groupe de brûleurs pour chauffer l'air pulsé (6), trois groupes de trois boudins gonflables de longueur variable (7) pour recouvrir l'avion équipés de camérasvidéo et de projecteurs sur chaque extrémité et comportant à l'intérieur des buses d'air chaud pour le séchage (8) et des gicleurs de pulvérisation de produits d'antigivrage (9), une génération électrique de secours (10), un réservoir de liquide d'antigivrage muni d'une pompe et d'un jaugeur (11), un système d'alerte centralisé muni de dispositifs d'arrêt automatiques (12).
