A strut clip for holding a conduit, pipe and the like to a channel- shape strut comprising a one piece rectangular elongated metal strip or plate having a designed weakness in the center thereof so that the clip may be separated at the center into two separate substantially equal parts. The ends of the clip are offset and include tabs with one end including a hole in which is positioned a fastener. In one embodiment the fastener is a nut and bolt assembly and the threads at the end of the bolt may be deformed so that the nut and bolt assembly cannot be removed. In another embodiment a fiber washer may be used to keep the fastener assembled to the clip. The opposite end may include an outwardly opening slot with nut capture flanges on each side of the slot to facilitate assembly and tightening of the fastener, or such opposite end may include a hole with a full or partial thread form. The edges of the clip include symmetrically spaced pairs of edge notches on opposite sides of the designed weakness so that the two parts may readily engage the strut on opposite sides of the conduit and be quickly clamped together.
