A vapor collecting apparatus (10) for extracting a condensed, liquefied volatile component carried by a solvent gas. The apparatus (10) includes a single cryogen-cooled vessel (14) into which the gas stream (12) is introduced, along with a flow of li- quid cryogen, preferably liquid nitrogen. The output from the vessel (14) contains droplets of condensed vapor which are separat- ed from the gas solvent in a cyclone separator (80).
