A strike board for slow pitch baseball is generally rectangular with a V-shaped cutout at a front edge for receiving the outside edge of home plate. Instead of being formed as conventionally as simply a flat sheet of plywood or the like, the strike board is instead formed from fabric with a plurality of parallel pockets each of which receives a wooden slat along the length of the pocket so that the slats and the pockets can be rolled for storage and transportation. The fabric is stitched to define the pockets. The rolling of the board into a rolled shape similar to a bat bag provides convenient transportation.
