A wound dressing comprising a backing layer, an adhesive layer and an absorbent layer between the backing layer and the adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer secures the absorbent layer to the backing layer and that the adhesive layer is interrupted in at least one zone enabling a direct contact between the absorbent layer and the backing layer and exposing at least a part of the skin contacting surface of the absorbent layer, characterised in that at least the skin-facing surface of the adhesive layer is provided with a non- detachable, non-adhesive cover layer.

Cette invention concerne un pansement servant à panser les plaies et comprenant une couche support, une couche adhésive et une couche absorbante placée entre la couche support et la couche adhésive, laquelle couche adhésive sert à maintenir la couche absorbante sur la couche support. La couche adhésive est interrompue dans au moins une zone, ce qui permet un contact direct entre la couche absorbante et la couche support et expose au moins une partie de la surface en contact avec la peau de la couche absorbante. Ce pansement se caractérise en ce qu'au moins la surface face à la peau de la couche adhésive est munie d'une couche de protection non adhésive et non détachable.
