A single handed tape dispenser can include a housing defining a tape spool chamber and an enclosed roller chamber. The enclosed roller chamber supports a roller for contacting the non-adhesive side of the tape to be dispensed, while the adhesive side is presented outwardly for rolling contact with a surface of an article to be taped. The enclosed roller chamber supports a cutter element downstream of the roller allowing single handed application of the tape to the article to be taped and cutting of the tape to the desired length. The tape spool chamber can be enclosed, open, or partially enclosed. The tape spool chamber can be formed of plastic and can be partially enclosed with a paper or cardboard insert, and/or can be enclosed by a plastic injection molded portion forming a clam-shell enclosure in combination with the tape spool chamber portion of the tape dispenser housing.
L'invention concerne un dévidoir de bande adhésive utilisable d'une seule main qui peut comprendre un boîtier définissant une chambre de bobine de bande et une chambre de rouleau fermée. Cette chambre de rouleau fermée supporte un rouleau destiné à entrer en contact avec le côté non adhésif de la bande à dévider, tandis que le côté adhésif est orienté vers l'extérieur de façon à entrer en contact par roulement avec la surface d'un article sur lequel la bande adhésive est destinée à être appliquée. La chambre de rouleau fermée comporte un élément tranchant en aval du rouleau, ce qui permet d'appliquer la bande d'une seule main sur l'article sur lequel la bande adhésive est destinée à être appliquée et de couper la bande à la longueur voulue. La chambre de bobine de bande peut être fermée, ouverte ou partiellement fermée. La chambre de bobine de bande peut être en plastique et partiellement fermée à l'aide d'une pièce rapportée en papier ou en carton et/ou peut être fermée au moyen d'une partie en plastique moulée par injection formant une boîtier double coque combinée à la partie chambre de bobine de bande du boîtier du dévidoir de bande adhésive.
