A driving element is divided into two coaxial toothed members (2, 3) attached to one another by elastic means (5). A first (2) of said toothed members is fixedly attached to a shaft (1, 1a) and the second (3) of these toothed members is freely mounted on this shaft (1). The planar face of the second toothed member (3), opposite the first toothed member (2), has seats (4) arranged around the shaft (1) in order to receive the first respective ends of deflection rods (5), which extend, with the shaft (1), outside of the toothed member (3). A flange (7), provided with an axial passage for receiving the end (1a') of the shaft (1) and with seats (6) for receiving the second respective ends of the deflection rods (5), comprises means (8) for clamping it on the end (1a') of the shaft (1) in an angular position fitted to apply to the rods (5) a deflection stress.
