The invention relates to novel derivatives of cinnamamides, benzalmalonamides and benzalmalonates having a short silicon chain on the ester moiety, lipid soluble, photostable and having excellent UV radiation absorptivity. The invention also relates to compositions, specifically cosmetic, comprising these novel derivatives and the use of the derivatives as active sunscreens to protect against UV radiation.

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de cinnamamides, de benzalmalonamides et de benzalmalonates portant une chaîne siliconée courte sur la partie ester, liposolubles, photostables et présentant un excellent pouvoir d'absorption dans le domaine des rayonnements UV. L'invention concerne également des compositions, notamment cosmétiques, comprenant ces nouveaux dérivés ainsi que l'utilisation de ces dérivés à titre de filtres solaires actifs dans le domaine des rayonnements UV.
