Disclosed is a holding device including: a telescopic handle (2) having axially opposed front and rear ends and constructed of at least two separate shafts, of which a front-side separate shaft axially fits within a rear-side separate shaft being a hollow cylinder; and a support member (6) provided at the front end of the telescopic handle (2) for attachment of a cleaning wiper. The front-side separate shaft has an axially extending elastic arm and an engaging projection provided at a leading end of the elastic arm, while the rear-side separate shaft has a through-hole passing through a cylinder wall thereof, in which the engaging projection engages when the front-side separate shaft projects from the rear-side separate shaft by a predetermined length. Pressing the engaging projection, which engages in the through-hole, from outside the rear-side separate shaft permits release of the engaging projection from the through-hole.

Cette invention se rapporte à un manche, comprenant un tube extensible (2) présentant une partie pointe et une partie base axialement opposées l'une à l'autre et formées par au moins deux tubes fendus, le tube fendu côté pointe étant ajusté axialement dans le tube fendu cylindrique creux côté base, ce manche comprenant en outre un corps de support (6) disposé à la pointe du tube extensible (2) et pouvant recevoir un chiffon nettoyant. Un bras élastique s'étendant axialement et un bouton saillant de verrouillage situé à l'extrémité du bras élastique sont prévus sur le tube fendu côté pointe, et un orifice traversant adapté au bouton saillant de verrouillage, lorsque le tube fendu côté pointe est déployé sur une longueur spécifiée à partir du tube fendu côté base, est ménagé dans la paroi périphérique du tube fendu côté base. Ainsi, en pressant le bouton saillant de verrouillage depuis l'extérieur du tube fendu côté base, alors que le bouton saillant de verrouillage est ajusté dans l'orifice traversant, on libère le bouton saillant de verrouillage de l'orifice traversant.
