74237-1 ABSTRACT In bottle packaging is it known to use cases with partitions for maintaining bottle control in the case. The present invention relates to a removable and reusable grid which fits in a bottle case. The grid is used primarily for bottle control in a case without partitions and is supported in the case by appendages either engaging the top of the sidewalls of the case or abutting the bottom of the case. The appendages may include clasps adapted to suspend the grid unit in the case and to secure top flaps of the case to the sides of the case.
