The invention relates to a method for the quality control of a weld bead made using a welding tool (12), of the type that comprises at least the successive steps of collecting, by means of an optical pyrometer (26) having a high frequency acquisition sensor (28), at least one signal representative of the temperature of a melted portion of the weld bead, characterized in that the step of signal processing and analysis comprises a frequency phase for checking that the recurring frequencies are within an acceptable range of reference frequencies, in order to determine if the weld bead is defective.

L'invention concerne un procédé de contrôle de la qualité d'un cordon de soudure réalisé au moyen d'un outil de soudage (12), du type qui comporte au moins les étapes successives suivantes de collecte, au moyen d'un pyromètre optique (26) comportant un senseur (28) à haute fréquence d'acquisition, d'au moins un signal qui est représentatif de la température d'une portion en fusion du cordon de soudure, et de traitement et d'analyse dudit signal en vue d'identifier d'éventuels défauts du cordon de soudure, caractérisé en ce que l'étape de traitement et d'analyse du signal comporte une phase fréquence qui consiste à vérifier que les fréquences récurrentes sont comprises dans une plage d'acceptation de fréquences de référence, afin de déterminer si le cordon de soudure comporte un défaut.
