The present invention provides a method of preventing or reducing restenosis, neointima formation, graft failure, atherosclerosis, angiogenesis and/or solid tumour growth in a subject. The method comprises administering to the subject a prophylactically effective dose of a nucleic acid which decreases the level of c-Jun mRNA, c-Jun mRNA translation or nuclear accumulation or activity of c- Jun. It is preferred that the nucleic acid is a DNAzyme that targets c-Jun mRNA.
Cette invention concerne une méthode permettant de prévenir ou de réduire la resténose, la formation de néo-intima, l'échec de greffe, l'athérosclérose, l'angiogenèse et/ou la croissance d'une tumeur solide chez un sujet. Cette méthode consiste à administrer au sujet une dose prophylactiquement efficace d'un acide nucléique qui réduit le niveau d'ARNm c-Jun, la translation ou l'accumulation nucléaire d'ARNm c-Jun ou l'activité de c-Jun. Cet acide nucléique est de préférence une ADNzyme qui cible l'ARNm c-Jun.
