An improved cinematographic system and method for multiple compositing, within a virtual studio, of an image frame or image sequence of a real/action image of an action sequence of a puppet (103), with another image frame or image sequence of real/action image of the same or another puppet (201), within given virtual studio space. This system and method have application to the compositing of a master camera angle image (401) and a close-up image (402) of the same puppet character; and, to the compositing of a master camera angle image of one action puppet character with a second image from another camera angle of another puppet action character, so as to provide an interactive image sequence of each of the characters of each image within the same image frame.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé cinématographique améliorés permettant d'effectuer plusieurs compositions, à l'intérieur d'un studio virtuel, d'une trame d'image ou d'une séquence d'images d'une image réelle/d'action d'une séquence d'actions d'une marionnette (103), avec une autre trame d'image ou une autre séquence d'images d'une image réelle/d'action de la même marionnette ou d'une autre marionnette (201), à l'intérieur d'un espace de studio virtuel donné. Ce système et ce procédé présentent une application au niveau de la composition d'une image d'angle de caméra principal (401) et d'une image en gros plan (402) de la même marionnette de personnage; et de la composition d'une image d'angle de caméra principal d'une marionnette de personnage en action avec une seconde image provenant d'un angle de caméra différent d'une autre marionnette de personnage en action, de sorte à obtenir une séquence d'images interactives de chacun des personnages de chaque image à l'intérieur de la même trame d'image.
