ABSTRACT A device for cleaning waste water includes at least one multireactor, which consists of a cylindrical container, the axis of which is vertical, and a rotatable central shaft coaxially positioned within the container. In the multireactor, at least two bioreactors are positioned above one another, and above said bioreactors there is at least one device for separating sludge and water. The two adjacent bioreactors are separated from each other by means of a horizontal mainly annular partition wall, the outer edge of which is connected to the inner wall of the container, and the inner diameter is somewhat larger than the outer diameter of the shaft. A supply of oxygen gas is provided in the lowest bioreactor of each multireactor. The shaft carries protruding parts for gas collection and stirring action by their rotation with the shaft while allowing vertical passage of water and gas from one bioreactor to the other in the container.
