23233-278 Abstract The invention relates to pyrimidofuroxans of the general formula I Image I in which A denotes Image , Image , or Image where in each case the nitrogen atom is bonded via the C-4 and the carbon atom via the C-3 of the furoxan ring, R1 is, for example, -NHOH, R2 is, for example, hydrogen, R3 is (C2-C4)-alkyl, and R4 and R5 are, for example, (C1-C6)-alkyl. The compounds of the formula I have useful pharmacological properties and can be used for the control and prevention of disorders of the cardiovascular system, in particular for the control and prevention of angina pectoris and for the treatment of erectile dysfunctions.
