For reducing the space required by the stairs, the uppermost step (8) of the stairs run is displaced under the landing and the nose of the landing is notched (5) according to the stair pattern. In the inner edge, the notching is decreased to an inner turn point (A') for maintaining the stair pattern on the side of the inner curve.
