- 1 - Abstract: Curable powdered mixtures based on polyarylenesiloxanes Curable powdered coating composition based on polyaryl- enesiloxanes, comprising from 1 to 99.9 % by weight of one or more polyarylenesiloxanes of the formula I. Image (I) The symbols R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, X, m and n have the following meaning: R1 and R2 are a straight-chain or branched C1-C12-alkyl radical, a substituted or unsubstituted C6-C14-aryl radical or a substituted or unsubstituted vinyl radical; R3, R4, R5 and R6 are identical or different and indepen- dently of one another are hydrogen, a branched or un- branched C1-C3-alkyl radical or a substituted or unsub- stituted C6-C14-aryl radical; -X- is a group Image , Image , Image , -SO2- or is oxygen or sulfur or a bond, R7 and R6 independently of one another being hydrogen or a branched or unbranched C1-C6-alkyl, C6-C14-aryl or a sub- stituted or unsubstituted C3-C9-cycloalkyl radical. The degree of polymerization n is in the range from 2 to 100 WO 93/05121 - 2 - PC??EP92/?1??2 and m is 0 or 1. The coating compositions described are distinguished by high transparency and good solvent resistance and, especially with high polyarylenesiloxane contents, are also flame resistant.
