The wrapping consists of a closed outer bag (S) for keeping the contents thereof sterile and an inner sheath (G) containing the blade between a closed end of the sheath and an open end thereof, said sheath being thin and tear-resistant in order to enable the blade to be mounted on a handle and to be dismantled without removing the sheath and enabling the sheath to be tucked up. The invention can be used for wrapping laryngoscope blades.
