ABSTRACT The invention concerns a process for the construction of glass wall panels comprising a support metal section onto which is fixed by glueing a single-sheet pane, or a double- -sheet pane with an intermediate insulating chamber. Accord- ing to the invention, onto at least the front surface of the metal support section - on which said pane is subsequently fixed by means of a silicone adhesive - there is applied, by melting, a superficial covering layer consisting of a mater- ial apt to form a perfectly smooth adhesion surface, as mol- ten metal applied by plasma spray or vitreous enamel, said material having a chemical affinity with the silicone adhe- sive. The invention also concerns a glass wall panel obtai- ned with said process and glued either directly onto the frame of the glass wall support structure, or onto a rim frame apt to be mechanically anchored, in an interchangeable manner, onto said support structure frame.
