A method of prioritising actions at a gateway (1) to a bearer network (3), the gateway comprising a Media Gateway (7) which is responsible for establishing call connections over said bearer network (3) and a Media Gateway Controller (4) coupled to the Media Gateway. A signalling message is received at the Media Gateway Controller (4), which determines the priority of the message. The signalling message is converted into a Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) message including a parameter indicating the priority of the associated signalling message. The MGCP is then transferred to the Media Gateway (7) which acts upon the message in accordance with the indicated priority.
L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à classer par ordre de priorité des actions au niveau d'une passerelle (1) desservant un réseau support (3), ladite passerelle comprenant une passerelle de média (7) servant à établir des connexions téléphoniques sur ledit réseau support (3) et un contrôleur de passerelle de média (4) couplé à la passerelle de média. Le contrôleur de passerelle de média (4) reçoit un message de signalisation et détermine la priorité du message. Le message de signalisation est converti en message protocole de contrôle de passerelle de média (MGCP) comprenant un paramètre indiquant la priorité du message de signalisation associé. Le MGCP est alors transféré à la passerelle de média (7) qui traite le message en fonction de la priorité indiquée.
