A spray can user protector having a finger depressable portion to permit activation of a nozzle for the emission of spray from a can, an upright guard portion forwardly of the finger depressable portion and above the nozzle, side guard portions extending rearwardly on either side of the finger depressable portion, so that, in use, the upright guard portion and the side guard portions substantially protect any finger on the finger depressable portion from contamination by spray emitting from said nozzle.
