The invention relates to a continuous method for producing a hydrogen peroxide solution in a medium that comprises a water-miscible organic solvent, by reacting hydrogen and oxygen in the presence of an inert gas, the gas flow being circulated and the hydrogen and oxygen only being supplemented in the form of pure gases as they are consumed. The invention further relates to the use of the solution so produced in the epoxidation of olefins.
