An insulated floor, ceiling or wall register, known also as a grill, for installation in forced air heating and air conditioning systems with a purpose of optimizing and rationalizing of the operation of the said systems. The register as described here in, incorporates the seal which continues around the inner flange of the said register, and which seal prevents the unwanted loss of an air in the area between the register and the booth of a heating or air conditioning duct, after installation. The insulated register may be equipped with the sleeve, which sleeve act to compress the seal to ease the insertion of the register into place. Once the grill is in place, the said sleeve slides away exposing the seal, which seal expands and fills the gap between the grill and the booth.
