Novel tetrazolinone derivatives of formula (I) wherein R represents a group (a), R3 and R4 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, alkyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or phenyl, R5 represents phenyl, aralkyl, phenoxyalkyl or phenylthioalkyl, R1 and R2 each independently represents alkyl, haloalkyl, cycloalkyl, alkenyl, alkinyl, aralkyl or phenyl, or R1 and R2 may form, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, a heterocyclic group, a process and intermediates for their preparation and their use as selective herbicides.

La présente invention concerne des dérivés de tétrazolinone représentés par la formule générale (I). Dans cette formule, R est un groupe représenté par la formule spécifique (a). R?3¿ et R?4¿ sont chacun indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène, un alkyle, un haloalkyle, un cycloalkyle, un aralkyle ou un phényle. R?5¿ est phényle, aralkyle, phénoxyalkyle ou phénylthioalkyle. R?1¿ et R?2¿ sont chacun indépendamment alkyle, haloalkyle, cycloalkyle, alcényle, alkinyle, aralkyle ou phényle. Mais, avec l'atome d'azote auquel ils sont liés, R?1¿ et R?2¿ peuvent également former un groupe hétérocyclique. L'invention concerne également, d'une part un procédé et des intermédiaires convenant à la préparation de ces dérivés, et d'autre part leur utilisation comme herbicides sélectifs.
