A disposable wipe-off article comprises a base sheet 10 and a wipe-off layer of heat-sealable continuous filaments bonded to at least one of upper and lower surfaces of the base sheet and extending in one direction wherein the continuous filaments are bonded to the base sheet by a plurality of heat- seal lines extending to cross the continuous filaments and arranged at spaced-apart longitudinal intervals along the length of the wipe-off layer.
