Olefins such as ethylene and propylene may be polymerized by using as catalysts novel selected transition metal complexes of bis (carboximidamidatonates) in which the carboximidamidatonate groups are connected together through covalent bonds by a bridging group. The resulting polymers are useful as molding and extrusion resins.

Certaines oléfines telles que l'éthylène et le propylène peuvent être polymériser au moyen de nouveaux complexes à base de métaux de transition de bis(carboximidamidatonates) dans lesquels les groupes carboximidamidatonates sont liés les uns aux autres par un groupe en pont avec liaisons covalentes. Les polymère ainsi obtenus conviennent comme résines à mouler et à extruder.
