The invention relates to a polypeptide having preferably antitumoral and/or immunomodulating cytokine properties which can be activated by processing it in vivo. Said polypeptide comprises a central region that has a specific biological activity. At the C-terminus, said region comprises a region with a processing unit and an inhibitor domain while at its N-terminus it comprises a region that selectively recognizes a macromolecule on a cell surface or a component of the extracellular matrix.
La présente invention concerne un polypeptide présentant de préférence des propriétés de cytokine antitumorales et/ou immunomodulatrices. Ledit polypeptide peut être activé in vivo par traitement, et comporte une région centrale présentant une activité biologique spécifique. Une région comportant une unité de traitement et un domaine d'inhibition est située sur l'extrémité C-terminale de la région centrale, tandis qu'une région reconnaissant sélectivement une macromolécule sur une surface cellulaire, ou une composante de la matrice extracellulaire, est située sur l'extrémité N-terminale de ladite région centrale.
