There is provided a method and system for customizing a customizable theme of a user interface of a computer system. The user interface includes a plurality of screens having one or more modifiable screen attributes. The method further includes: receiving a base theme comprising a plurality of layers, each of said layers comprising at least one object, at least some of said at least one object having one or more graphical properties; mapping each of the screens to each of said layers; mapping each respective screen attribute to the graphical properties related to the respective screen attribute, said mapped screens and screen attributes defining the customizable theme of the user interface; receiving a user input to modify said at least one screen attribute corresponding to a first screen to customize the customizable theme; and modifying the graphical properties related to the modified screen attribute.
Méthode et système de personnalisation d'un thème personnalisable dans l'interface utilisateur d'un système informatique. L'interface utilisateur comprend plusieurs écrans dotés d'une ou de plusieurs caractéristiques modifiables. La méthode comporte les étapes suivantes : la réception d'un thème de base comprenant plusieurs couches, chacune ayant au moins un objet, lequel compte au moins une propriété graphique; la mise en correspondance de chaque écran et de chaque couche; la mise en correspondance de chaque attribut d'écran et de leurs caractéristiques graphiques, les écrans et les caractéristiques mentionnés définissant le thème personnalisable de l'interface utilisateur; la réception d'une entrée faite par un utilisateur pour modifier au moins une caractéristique d'écran correspondant à un premier écran pour personnaliser le thème personnalisable; la modification des propriétés graphiques liées à la caractéristique d'écran modifiée.
