ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention WATER AND ADDITIVES CONSERVATION SYSTEM FOR WATER CLOSETS relates to a water closet flushing system to reduce water usage in domestic and public toilets and to improve the utilization of additives. The flushing system can utilize the concepts of either a multiple compartment tank or the use of a tank with discharge points and/or valves positioned at different elevations within the tank. Corresponding to the different volume usage required are actuators which can be levers, push buttons, push buttons with timers, or some other electronically activated selection board. Based on the quantity of water to be used for effective flushing designated actuators can be utilized. For example, to utilize minimal volume for flushing to ensure an effective urine disposal a certain actuator is manipulated. To energize a regular volume flush for solids disposal, another actuator may be depressed. In cases where additives to the bowl such as cleansing solutions, disinfectants or deodorizers are utilized a small chamber within the tank is provided. To introduce these solutions a separate release valve into the bowl can be used. Also, the admitting valve from the additives chamber into the bowl can be activated with a time delay mechanism. After the flushing action is completed, the dispensed material stays within the toilet bowl and thus is not wasted by being flushed down into the sewer.
