A needleless injector capsule for a liquid medicament has a filling adaptor removably, and preferably frangibly, attached thereto. The capsule has a chamber for receiving injectate, the chamber being provided with an injection orifice, and having a piston located for movement therein. The adaptor has a bore which communicates with the capsule chamber via the injection orifice. The capsule is filled by introducing injectate into the capsule chamber through the injection orifice and excess injectate into bore of the adaptor, and closing the bore of the adaptor to the exterior by a sealing means, leaving the bore partly filled with excess injectate.

Cette cartouche pour injecteur sans aiguille, destinée à contenir un médicament liquide, présente un adaptateur de remplissage amovible, lequel est préférablement attaché à celle-ci par une zone pouvant se rompre. La cartouche présente une chambre, servant à recevoir la substance à injecter et pourvue d'un orifice d'injection, ainsi qu'un piston placé dans la chambre pour s'y déplacer. L'adaptateur comporte un alésage communiquant avec la chambre de la cartouche via l'orifice d'injection. On remplit la cartouche en introduisant la substance à injecter dans la chambre, à travers l'orifice d'injection, l'excès de substance à injecter restant dans l'alésage de l'adaptateur, puis en fermant cet alésage vers l'extérieur à l'aide de moyens de scellement et en le laissant partiellement rempli de l'excès de la substance à injecter.
