A liquid personal cleansing composition comprising: (a) from about 0.01 % to about 15 % by weight of a thickening system consisting essentially of associative polymer and polar oil having a required HLB of at least 12; (b) from about 1 % to about 60 % by weight of water-soluble surfactant selected from anionic surfactant, nonionic, zwitterionic and amphoteric surfactants and mixtures thereof; (c) optionally, from about 0.01 % to about 5 % by weight of cationic polymeric skin conditioning agent; and (d) water, wherein the polar oil has an average carbon chain length of from about 10 to about 18 carbon atoms and wherein the water-soluble surfactants have an average carbon chain length of from 10 to about 18 carbon atoms. The products provide excellent product thickening and rheological attributes, in storage, in dispensing and in-use, in combination with good efficacy benefits including excellent rinsibility, mildness, skin conditionning, skin moisturising, good product stability, cleansing and lathering.

La présente invention concerne une composition liquide nettoyante d'hygiène personnelle comprenant: (a) entre environ 0,01 % et environ 15 % en poids d'un système épaississant composé essentiellement d'un polymère associatif et d'une huile polaire présentant un rapport hydrophile-lipophile d'au moins 12; (b) entre environ 1 % et environ 60 % en poids d'un tensio-actif choisi parmi un tensio-actif anionique, des tensio-actifs non ioniques, zwittérioniques et amphiprotiques et des mélanges de ceux-ci; (c) éventuellement, entre environ 0,01 % et environ 5 % en poids d'un agent polymérique cationique revitalisant; et (d) de l'eau. L'huile polaire présente une chaîne carbonée d'une longueur moyenne d'environ 10 à environ 18 atomes de carbone et les tensio-actifs hydrosolubles présentent une chaîne carbonée d'une longueur moyenne d'environ 10 à environ 18 atomes de carbone. Ces compositions présentent d'excellentes propriétés rhéologiques et d'épaississement tant pendant le stockage qu'à la distribution et à l'emploi, ainsi qu'une efficacité améliorée en raison de leur facilité de rinçage, leur douceur, leur capacité de revitalisation et d'hydratation de la peau, leur bonne stabilité, leurs propriétés nettoyantes et moussantes.
