A implantable prosthesis having an external surface at least a portion of which is an open-cell structure is made by providing an implantable member having a surface applying a first layer (32) of elastomer to the surface, applying a first layer of particles (30) to the first layer of elastomer, applying a second layer (34) of elastomer to the first layer of particles (36), applying a second layer of particles to the second layer of elastomer, curing the layers of elastomer, and removing the particles to form an external surface at least a portion of which is an open-cell structure.
L'invention concerne une prothèse implantable qui présente une surface externe dont au moins une partie est une structure à cellules ouvertes réalisée en prévoyant un élément implantable présentant une surface, en appliquant une première couche (32) d'élastomère sur la surface, en appliquant une première couche de particules (30) sur la première couche d'élastomère, en appliquant une deuxième couche (34) d'élastomère sur la première couche de particules (36), en appliquant une deuxième couche de particules sur la deuxième couche d'élastomère, en faisant durcir les couches d'élastomère et en retirant les particules pour former une surface externe dont au moins une partie est une structure à cellules ouvertes.
