In order to enhance the enjoyment of assem- bling a puzzle of the three-dimensional type, a puzzle is disclosed in the form of a building-like structure having walls to be joined at corners thereof. The puzzle includes a plurality of wall pieces capable of interlocking in a plane to form walls of the building- like structure. It is also contemplated that each of the wall pices will have peripheral male and female con- tours capable of interlocking engagement to form a portion of a wall. The puzzle further includes at least one corner piece capable of joining a pair of walls at a corner of the building-like structure. It is also contemplated that the corner piece will be formed so as to have a groove m a backing material opposite an image-bearing outer surface of the same types which are also to be used for each of the wall pieces. With this understanding of the components of the puzzle the groove in the corner piece has a depth dimension sufficient for folding the corner piece to form a cor- ner for the building-like jigsaw puzzle structure.

La présente invention concerne un puzzle à structure en forme de bâtiment, constitué de murs à joindre au niveau de leurs coins, ce puzzle servant à rendre plus divertissant l'assemblage d'un puzzle de type tridimensionnel. Ce puzzle comporte un ensemble de pièces de mur s'interpénétrant dans un plan pour former les murs de la structure ressemblant à un bâtiment. Il est également prévu que chacune des pièces de mur comporteront en périphérie des tenons et mortaises s'interpénétrant pour constituer une partie du mur. Ce puzzle comporte en outre au moins une pièce de coin permettant d'assembler deux murs disposés en coin dans la structure en forme de bâtiment. Il est également prévu que la pièce de coin comportera une rainure dans le matériau support opposé à la surface extérieure portant une image, du même type que les pièces de mur. Grâce à cette constitution des composants du puzzle, la rainure dans la pièce de coin a une profondeur suffisante pour qu'on puisse la plier afin de former un coin s'adaptant par tenons et mortaises à la structure de puzzle en forme de bâtiment.
