Bearing with drainage of lubrication oil. For a ball bearing, the rings (16, 17) are provided with races (18, 19) with a conical-shaped cross-section which the balls (20) contact at pairs of side contact points. The central circumference (21, 22) of each ring (16, 17) is free; cooling oil drillings (23, 24) are drilled in it. This arrangement gives better oil circulation characteristics, thus improving the bearing efficiency and less heat is dissipated. Thus higher speed can be expected. The drillings (24) responsible for drainage are inclined in the direction of rotation in order to facilitate drainage outside the roller bearing.
