S U M M A R Y Process for managing the naming of objects, process for displaying a logical address of an object on a physical CORBA address of an object, program module, computer unit and computer system. In an object environment, in which a number of objects inter-act, one or several objects in the number of objects are allocated to a component. The naming management is distributed over the components. Each component manages the naming of the component or components which immediately follows it. (Fig. 2)

Procédé de gestion de la dénomination d'objets, procédé d'affichage d'une adresse logique d'un objet sur une adresse CORBA physique d'un objet, module de programme, unité informatique et système informatique. Dans un environnement objet où un certain nombre d'objets interagissent, un ou plusieurs desdits objets sont affectés à une composante. La gestion de la dénomination est répartie parmi les composantes. Chaque composante gère la dénomination de la composante ou des composantes qui la suivent immédiatement. (Fig. 2)
