Described is a method for improving the spreading properties of fatty alcohol containing compositions comprising the steps providing an amount of fatty alcohol containing composition, and adding an effective amount of acylating source to the fatty alcohol containing composition, where the acylating source is R1C=OOR2, where R1 is an alkyl substituent of the acyl group having between (1) and (5) carbons; where R2 is a long chain fatty alkyl subsistent (non- limiting examples are unsaturated substituents such as CH3 - (CH2)7 - CH = CH - CH2 - (CH2)x-, and saturated substituents such as CH3 - (CH2)y-, wherein x ranges from (4) to (12), and y ranges from (14) to (22), and the like), and wherein the whereby the spreading properties are increased over the spreading properties originally exhibited.
L'invention concerne une méthode pour améliorer les propriétés d'étalement de compositions contenant des alcools gras. Cette méthode comprend les étapes consistant à: fournir une quantité de compositions contenant des alcools gras, et ajouter une quantité efficace d'une source d'acylation à la composition contenant des alcools gras, la source d'acylation est désignée par R¿1?C=OOR¿2?, R¿1? désignant un substituant alkyle d'un groupe acyle présentant entre 1 et 5 carbones; R¿2? désignant un substituant alkyle gras à longue chaîne (des exemples non exhaustifs sont des substituants insaturés, notamment CH¿3? - (CH¿2?)¿7? - CH = CH - CH¿2? - (CH¿2?)¿x?-, et des substituants saturés, notamment CH¿3? - (CH¿2?)¿y?-, x étant compris entre 4 et 12, y étant compris entre 14 et 22, et analogue). L'invention permet ainsi d'augmenter les propriétés d'étalement par rapport aux propriétés d'étalement d'origine.
