A method and system for accessing subterranean resources from a limited surface area includes a first well bore (12) extending from the surface to the target zone (16). The first well bore (12) includes an angled portion (24) disposed between the target zone and the surface to provide an offset between a surface location of the first well bore and an intersection of the first well bore with the subterranean resource. The system also includes an articulated well bore (40) extending from the surface to the target zone (16). The articulated well bore (40) is offset from the first well bore (12) at the surface and intersects the first well bore (12) proximate the target zone (16). The system further includes a well bore pattern extending from the intersection of the first well bore and the articulated well bore in the target zone to provide access to the target zone (16).
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système qui permettent d'accéder à des ressources souterraines depuis une zone de surface limitée et qui comprennent un premier puits de forage (12) situé entre la surface et la zone cible (16). Le premier puits de forage (12) comprend une partie inclinée (24), située entre la zone cible et la surface, qui produit un décalage entre un endroit de la surface du premier puits de forage et une intersection du premier puits de forage avec la ressource souterraine.
