ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Elastomeric articles, such as automotive fuel hoses and seals, containing one or more elastomer layers made from fluoropolymer gum, epichlorohydrin gum, or blends thereof, together with polyphenol, organo-onium compound, and acid acceptor, the articles being shaped and cured without a need for an adhesion-promoting coating between adjacent layers (if more than one layer is present in the article), the cured articles having resistance to permeation by hydrocarbons and degradation due to hydro- peroxides found in fuels.
