A system is provided herein for monitoring the quality of milk which is stored at a dairy facility comprising sensors, e.g., analog and/or digital sensors that are installed on equipment on a dairy farm. Such sensors report information through a communication device that sends the information, e.g., over wire-line or wireless telephony to a network operations center. The network operation center includes resident software which is programmed to interpret that information. Then, the software firstly determines whether the dairy farm operator needs to receive an alert or informational message via telephone or any other electronic communications device suggesting that the operator take appropriate action. Secondly, if necessary, the software then presents the alert and sensor information on a customized secure web site that the operator can access to review the information and prepare the compliance reporting for, e.g., HACCP-type activities.
Un système est fourni aux présentes pour contrôler la qualité du lait stocké à une ferme laitière et qui comprend des capteurs, p. ex. des capteurs analogiques et/ou numériques installés sur un équipement de ferme laitière. Ces capteurs signalent l'information au moyen d'un appareil de communications qui envoie l'information, p.ex. sur une ligne métallique ou par téléphonie sans fil à un centre d'exploitation de réseau. Ce centre comprend un programme résident programmé pour interpréter cette information. Ensuite, ce programme détermine tout d'abord si l'opérateur de la ferme laitière a besoin de recevoir un message d'alerte ou d'information par téléphone ou tout autre appareil de communications électronique qui suggère que l'opérateur prend les mesures appropriées. En second lieu, au besoin, ledit programme présente alors l'information d'alerte et du capteur sur un site Web sécurisé personnalisé auquel l'opérateur peut accéder pour revoir l'information et préparer l'édition de rapports de conformité, p.ex. pour les activités de type HACCP (analyse des risques et maîtrise des points critiques).
