A toothbrush device which can produce a sound and/or an image during tooth-brushing including a brush portion and a handle portion, wherein a battery, a transmitter, a switch and a receiver are provided inside the handle portion and wherein the receiver has a self program to reproduce a sound or an image upon receiving a signal from the brush portion.
